Aridia Taveras Bio.

Aridia Taveras was born in Moca, Espaillat. She is the second of three children. Since childhood she showed great strength, independence, desire to excel and passion for sports, becoming a regional selection of volleyball. In her teen years she struggled with poverty where she lived telling herself every day to achieve, to be great.

The harshness of life does not allow her to believe in the "Gray", neither midpoints, taking as a life motto: "Things are done well, or not done at all" Her curiosity and perseverance led her from very young to make great strides, ignoring the vicissitudes that life presents.

Early in adolescence she leaned towards communication, she dabbled in general public entertainment radio programs, succeeding at placing them in the top of the charts throughout the Cibao region.

In the eighties she moves to Puerto Rico and there starts working at Q-97 Radio, where she was in charged of producing a program called "Revista Dominical", successfully interviewing many celebrities.

Her program was one of the most listened by the Dominican community in Puerto Rico.
Then she returned to the Dominican Republic and established a production company, which at first was noted for recording and editing social events like weddings, birthdays and other activities in Moca and Santiago de los Caballeros.

In 1990, Aridia Taveras starts nurturing and giving shape to a dream, "A Tiempo" as an effort to combine her identity sensitivity and vocation of a journalist, jumping and avoiding obstacles the difficulties of a hostile world as communications and television at that time in the Dominican Republic.

With "A Tiempo", she has crystallized that dream, to present a television program dedicated to inform, guide and develop a work on behalf of the sectors of the population with fewer economic and educational opportunities.

She has hosted great shows and ceremonies being in charge of presenting many artists of different scopes and fields. Hardworking, incredible resiliency, those words can define this woman who has known excelling, surpassing stages and rising to success in each project in which she has embarked herself.

Not satisfied with her successful trajectory in 2001, She gave birth to a new project, Telecanal CIBAO, C. POR A., a commercial channel.

Now on a personal level we can say that Aridia Taveras has crystallized most of her goals, including one of the most important for every woman, procreation, because now her daughter Emely Taveras, fills of laughter, pampering and antics this woman's successful life.

Aridia Taveras continues to grow still adding daily steps to that dream that keeps taking firm steps in her walk through life.
